About JT!
JT Nagle is an actor, stand-up comedian, voiceover artist, director, improviser, and immersive creator currently based in Kansas City. He is a Co-Founder of the immersive theatre company, Visceral Theatre. He wrote and directed their inaugural production, ICARUS, an immersive horror thriller that premiered in 2019. Kansas City acting credits include Heart of America Shakespeare, Unicorn Theatre, KC Actor's Theatre, Coterie Theatre, and the Multicultural Theatre Initiative. Before moving to KC, JT lived in Chicago where he performed with Goodman Theatre, Muse of Fire (also a company member), Shattered Globe, Broken Nose Theatre, Waltzing Mechanics, and others. Some of his favorite roles include Tom in The Glass Menagerie, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Michal in The Pillowman.
As a comedian, JT has opened for Michael Winslow, Godfrey, and Dan Cummins, among others and can be heard on the podcast Risk! and The SQUIDcast. JT is a current cast member of the KC Improv Company, performing shows weekly. His long-form team, Those People, was the 15-week champion of iO Chicago's Cagematch and voted one of the top-5 improv teams in Kansas City by The Pitch. With Those People, JT has performed at iO Chicago, Gainesville Improv Festival, Sh*thole Chicago, Kansas City Improv Festival, Hideout Chicago, and the Kansas City Fringe Festival. As a human being, JT enjoys playing banjo and guitar. He's a huge horror fan, and loves finding new ways to scare himself. Artists that currently inspire him include Mike Birbiglia and Darren Lynn Bousman. JT isn't sure whether this should be in first or third person. I know there are a lot of different thoughts on the matter, but there doesn't seem to be any true authority on talking about yourself. I guess we all just have to give it the college try and see what happens. JT agrees...
